I've always wondered how different the story could have been if Kevin won the coin toss. To the best of my knowledge he never had the same challenges with substances and he also seems to have been the smartest of the brothers (emotionally and psychologically). I mostly agree that David was the best wrestler and on the mic, and I know Kerry was the favorite of all the female fans. Kevin, wow, there was just something about Kevin that made him freaking awesome!!! I grew up in Fort Worth and I remember the scenes and scores of fans just flocking to the Sportatorium, never a dry panty to be found. Love you Kevin!!!!❤❤❤❤

I believe family curses are just manifestations of toxic parenting, standards, behaviors, and relationships passed down. Their father, a controlling, emotionally neglectful narcissist, prioritized wrestling over family. Their mother, emotionally disturbed and neglectful, added to the toxic environment. Raised with toxic masculinity, combined with drugs, fame pressures, seeking validation, and trauma, it's a breeding ground for mental health issues, leading to suicidal ideation. Sadly, their poor parenting was overlooked due to the glamorous wrestling lifestyle.

I just watched the Iron Claw and learned that the FILM removed one of the brothers deaths because it was too sad (the film is excellent by the way). What a tragic series of events.

Wrestling promoter Toots Mondt told the story that a holocaust survivor approached Fritz and criticized him for the nazi gimmick. Fritz dismissed him saying that it was just an act not hurting anyone. The man cursed Fritz saying that he hopes he feels the same pain that other survivors who have lost loved ones feel. Toots died in 1976 before they began to experience all of this bad luck but it sounds like it was a true story.
